EGG CURRY WITH PEPPER

Filed in Prawns 4 comments

The other day I made this egg curry.
This is my Mom’s wonderful recipe which we used to ask her every now and then when we were kids to make as it used to so different to the usual egg curry with tomatoes n all.
I don’t know whether this is a recipe which everyone makes or one of my MOM’s Signature dishes

here we go:
Eggs: 6 boiled and cut into 2
Onions: 2
Chillies: 6
Tamarind : lemon sized( add hot water and take the pulp of it)
Pepper: 1 tsp

Take a saucepan and add 1 tbsp of oil, fry onions and chillies for a little while and then add salt and turmeric to it.
Now add the tamarind juice or pulp to it and let it boil. Now add pepper and eggs and simmer for 5 to min minutes.

Serve hot with rice or chapathis

I love eggs in any form. Your curry looks so yummy.Usually I add tomato instead of tamarind. Will try out your version next time. Thanks for sharing your mom’s special recipe.
