WBB#9

Sig is hosting WBB#9 and the theme is to come up with a new twist on Eggs.I am a great fan of Eggs and usually try to make different things with eggs but this time I tried herb omelette.

An omelette is so versatile and quick to cook that it’s essential to master the art of cooking one.
I guess everyone has their own way of making the best omelette.

here is my recipe:
eggs: 4
salt
freshly ground pepper
handful of mixed herbs like coriander, parsley and chives.
2 tbsps of water
2 finely chopped chillies
1 small finely chopped tomato
onion(optional)
Whisk the eggs with 2 tbsp of water. Stir in the fresh herbs, chillies, tomatoes, salt and pepper.
Now heat oil in a frying pan( non stick works wonders for a perfect omelette)
Pour the egg mixture into the pan. Cook until the base is set and the top creamy.
Remove from heat and fold the rear side over and flick over into a plate.

Serve hot with fresh salad of lettuce and cherry tomatoes!!

Spicy Puffed Rice Mix(Muri Mix)

A true delicacy among the various spicy tastes we make @ home, This spicy muri is the perfect snack for any occasion.

It consists of sev, groundnuts, onions, tomatoes, lemon juice, green chillies and coriander.

Soft and hot to taste but its an amazing quick dish which is just captivating and a quick one to spice up your insipid taste buds.
