WBB#11(Weekend Breakfast Blogging)
WBB, Weekend Breakfast Blogging is a unique and superb event started by none other than our Enigmatic Nandita of Saffron Trail.
I am privileged to guest host this WBB#11 and at the same time quite apprehensive as it’s my first event to host.
The theme for this month event is “Summer Fruits” and I ask you to come out with an amazing sunny dish which brings out the sunshine in you.
The welcome arrival of summer brings out our favourite summer fruits like Raspberries, Strawberries, Peaches, Cherries, Mangoes, Blackberries, Plums, Red and Black currants and many more.
I read an article about Summer Berries that they are your brain’s best friend, not only because of their high antioxidant status but also because they are the best fruit source of folic acid. Extra intake of folic acid can reverse memory decline and sharpen concentration. The wonderful flavour and unique quality arrives along with summer. They are definitely freshest, healthiest and the best tasting fruits.
So let your art of cooking spring up with this wonderful theme and try anything with fruits as main ingredient, from Smoothies to Puddings, Cocktails to Compotes.
So head out to your nearest farmer’s market, supermarket or pick your own right from the fields and try out a dish with a tinge of you in that.
Try something new this time, a unique dish or a traditional one, a simple or an intricate one, anything means anything food bloggers with summer fruits as main ingredient and servable as breakfast/brunch.

Hey padmaja …Congrats on hosting an event .I am also hosting for the first time “AFAM” Event for the month of may .Will surely come up with recipes and post it in my site and send it to you ..
