Wrong time to fall ill?

Published by Padmaja under Uncategorized

Hi everyone, sorry for being quiet as one after the other at home is ill, it started with tummy bug, cold n cough, fever with noel and later turned into ear infection. Half way through his recovery, I was thankful that it happened before christmas so that he gets better just in time for Christmas but something else was instore for me, now I am totally down with terrible viral fever  and now Rocky’s got it so I had to cancel  everything, right from preps to the the christmas lunch with outmost sadness and just just hope we recover soon.

Its really hard when you are all alone in a foreign land and suddenly you realise how far away you are from loved ones!! You think about them all the time but at times like this makes you wonder why and what for ??? But we try to cope!!

Sorry for not replying to your emails and thank you for your wonderful comments. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

See you all in new year!!!

A lunch to remember!!

A setting to remember,  a lunch not to forget at a place called Seckford Hall, a Tudor Period House built in the 15th century which is now a Premier hotel n restaurant in historic market town of Woodbridge. The surroundings were simply splendid with luxurious accommodation and modern facilities. Our dining experience is definitely one to remember. There are two restaurants at this place and both won the prestigious AA Rosettes in recognition of high standard of cuisine on offer. There are a wide range of fish, meat and veggies and you can select your own lobster, how cool is that?We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and the menu was simple n elegant.

Going Nuts?

Published by Padmaja under Click, Events

Who can resist those incredible variety of nuts we get everywhere.

My favourite of all is definitely Cashewnuts as the taste is so unique, can’t stop after a handful, the taste dances on your taste buds and makes you crave for more.

I remember my childhood days where mom used to hide the dry-fruits and nuts somewhere in the kitchen as we. Kids along with dad used to rummage our kitchen on weekends or when she is out to get our hands on these nuts.
