A lunch to remember!!

A setting to remember,  a lunch not to forget at a place called Seckford Hall, a Tudor Period House built in the 15th century which is now a Premier hotel n restaurant in historic market town of Woodbridge. The surroundings were simply splendid with luxurious accommodation and modern facilities. Our dining experience is definitely one to remember. There are two restaurants at this place and both won the prestigious AA Rosettes in recognition of high standard of cuisine on offer. There are a wide range of fish, meat and veggies and you can select your own lobster, how cool is that?We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and the menu was simple n elegant.

We all were bowled over with their excellent service, amazing food and most importantly in splendid settings. It was such a relaxed lunch that we already decided where to go for next Christmas. You have these amazing places which are yet to be explored at your door step.

Each and every place in the historic town has something to offer. We have been driving through this little town every weekend but never realised its amazing history. I was so intrigued by the place, those amazing oak beams, beautiful landscape with birds chirping, ducks in the pond paddling away. Sometimes you wonder time just goes little slow so that you can relax n unwind in a beautiful setting like this.

I know someone must be thinking about whether I had fit into my dress, I am not going to mention anything about it now ! But hey what if I couldn’t fit last week?? There is still time right??

Here are some of the best dishes we had on our Christmas lunch.

First comes our Starters:

(Rosette of Melon with fruit compote and champagne sorbet)

We had one of our best christmas lunches after a very long time. The highlight of this lunch is definitely that yummy cheescake. I would recommend anyone to try this restaurant  and I am very sure that it will be one to remember!!
