When I saw this yummy chicken popcorn dish at lovely Sig’s Blog, I just couldn’t resist staring at those pictures nor wait to try. When I was fixing up Noel’s birthday menu, this was the first thing that zoomed onto to the first line of my dairy. But with time being an issue that day, I couldn’t try them that day but well pleased to make this last weekend as Sunday brunch.

They were simply delectable and we thoroughly enjoyed savoured these with onions, chillies and a drizzle of lemon on the top.

I tweaked the recipe a bit and here is my version:

Chicken Breasts: 2( cut into very small pieces)

Plain Flour: 2 tbsps

Chilli powder: 1 tsp

Turmeric: 1 tsp

Oil: 1 tbsp for mixing and 1 cup for frying

Lemon: half

Onions: 1 cut into small pieces

Green chillies: 2

Mix flour, salt, chilli powder, turmeric and oil and add chicken pieces. Leave it to rest for 10 minutes.

Take 1 cup of oil in a saucepan and when its at right temperature to deep fry, add these chicken pieces in small amounts and fry them until its cooked inside and outside is golden brown.

Drain them on a paper towels and Garnish with onions, chillies and a drizzle of lemon.

Spicy chicken bites are ready in a jiffy.

( There seems to be a problem with the pictures and text so had to repost it again)
